IIncreasingly, our living reality is on multiple levels, places, and timescales. We can be "in" our phones on social media, we can be "in" VR transported to fantastic fabricated realities. At the same time we also live on a planet 4 billion years old. The speed at which we can fabricate "real" feeling realities is accelerating. As designers, we need to think more and more about how "what we design" influences all of these places, timescales, and levels of permanence. What it means to create realities for our clients, and audiences, and how this impacts our culture.
