The Basics
Design Week Portland is a week-long, city-wide series of independent events and open houses. The 2018 festival runs April 14–21. You can read our mission for extra-credit.

Register for Events
The event schedule is live! An easy way to narrow down your choices is to use the filters at the top of the event schedule. You can get as specific as interior design parties, architecture panels, or any other combination of event types and disciplines. All events require individual registration, which can be accessed by clicking the "Attend" button.

Get Strategic
Tickets for some events will likely sell out in advance of the festival, so you may want to pick a few of your top events and register for tickets as soon as possible! More events may be added to the schedule before April 14, so keep an eye out for additions.

Thinking about what you'd like to get out of Design Week could help you pick your perfect lineup. Do you want to gain perspectives outside your discipline? There are informational panels on a wide variety of topics throughout the week. Are you hoping to meet new people or network? Plan an open house crawl any of the nights between Tuesday, April 17th, and Friday, April 20th. Do you want to have a good time and catch up with friends? Party on.

Create an Itinerary
You can create your own personalized itinerary by signing up for a Design Week account, and clicking the heart icon next to events or open houses. You can even share your favorites list if you select a public favorites preference while signing up.

Need a little help to get started? You'll also be able to browse sample itineraries created by Design Week from the home page.

Schedule Time
How often do you have the opportunity to participate in a city-wide design party? Let's put in for that vacation time! Even if you only have a few hours during the week, there are events scheduled from morning to evening, so there should be something that will fit any schedule.

Get Connected
Design Week will be sharing news and event highlights from now to the end of the festival on April 21st (and beyond). You can find us at Instagram and Twitter. We also invite you to join our new Facebook group, where you can connect with the Design Week community, ask questions, or find folks to attend events with. We'd also love to have you join in the conversation using #dwpdx. What are you excited about?
